A regular guest presenter on Steph’s Packed Lunch has spoken out about her devastation following the news that the show will be axed in December 2023.
Celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman described the show as a “supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment” where everyone felt seen and heard.
She praised the show’s commitment to uplifting and empowering human-interest stories, as well as its cheeky and irreverent tone.
Honigman said that she will personally miss the chaos of live TV and the opportunity to work with Steph McGovern, who she described as being exactly the same in person as she is on TV.
She also expressed her admiration for McGovern’s use of her platform to ensure that everyone gets a voice.
The axing of Steph’s Packed Lunch has been met with disappointment from fans and cast members alike.

In a statement, Channel 4 said that it was “incredibly proud” of everything the programme has achieved.

The budget for Steph’s Packed Lunch will now be reinvested into other nations and regions productions. Channel 4 said that it remains committed to its mission to help level up the TV industry outside London and to its 50% origination out of London target.
