SSG Restates Commitment To Anambra Project

The Chairman of All Soludo Support Group and Convener Soludo Support Group, Mr Chinedu Nwoye has called on their members to be more committed to self-development as well assupport the Governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo for him to achieve his vision for the good people of Anambra State.

 

Mr Nwoye who emphasized this during the first SSG membership welfare scheme committee meeting held in Awka, noted that they are committed to the Anambra project which was why they established the welfare committee, saddled with the responsibility of issuing members with soft loans and assistance.

 

He stated that the idea was to reduce the burden of government by empowering their members which will also contribute towards the growth of the state and made it clear that the meeting was to explain to their members the requirements and criteria on how to access the SSG welfare packages

On her part, the SSG welfare Committee Chairman, Mrs Edna Obiakor noted that the welfare packages are to encourage their members to become self-reliant in order to improve their standard of living and by extension contribute to the economic growth and development of the state.

 

Present at the strategic meeting were the twenty-one Local Government coordinators, twenty-one Local Government Women Leaders, zonal coordinators, including Comrade Obi-Ochije Modilim who is the SSG Zonal Coordinator for Anambra Central Senatorial District.

 

The meeting discussed in details the SSG welfare scheme, terms and conditions and also unveiled the loan application form and other relevant materials.
