Spencer Matthews shares his transformative journey and unveils his new podcast venture in Jordan’s desert marathon-inspired career shift

Spencer Matthews, best known for his role on Made In Chelsea, is stepping into a bold new chapter of his career.

After years of podcasting success alongside his wife, Vogue Williams, the entrepreneur has announced a fresh venture—one inspired by a profound experience running 30 desert marathons in 30 days last year.

Reflecting on the journey that changed his perspective, Spencer shared on Instagram that this realization sparked a significant shift in his work and personal goals.

Let’s dive into what’s next for him.

Saying Goodbye to “Spencer & Vogue”

Earlier this month, Spencer revealed he was stepping down from Spencer & Vogue, the popular podcast he co-hosted with Vogue.

The show, which had amassed a dedicated fanbase over four years and even hit the road for live tours, was a staple of their partnership.

While announcing his departure, Spencer expressed heartfelt gratitude to the listeners who made the show a success.

“I’ve loved doing this show, and it wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing audience,” he said.

He also assured fans that the podcast would stay in the family, with Vogue’s sister Amber Wilson stepping in as co-host, rebranded as Vogue & Amber.

A Transformative Experience

Reflecting on his grueling desert marathon experience, Spencer described it as a turning point.

“Running through the Jordanian desert was transformative,” he shared.

“It gave me a moment of clarity about the type of content I want to create—something that better aligns with who I am today.”

This epiphany led Spencer to leave not just Spencer & Vogue but also his other successful shows, Big Fish and 6 Degrees.

While it was a tough decision, he explained it was necessary to make space for his next big project.

Introducing “UNTAPPED by High Performance”

Spencer’s new podcast, UNTAPPED by High Performance, is set to explore untapped potential and inspire listeners to reach new heights.

Produced by the High Performance team, the weekly show will feature conversations with world-class athletes, scientists, and thought leaders.

In his announcement, Spencer described the podcast as “fun, uplifting, motivational, and even inspirational.”

He hopes to build a community where listeners can share their stories, support one another, and embrace personal growth.

“It’s never too late to change your habits, reframe your boundaries, and unlock your potential,” he added.

The podcast will be available weekly, with full visual episodes on YouTube.

The first episode is set to launch on Monday, January 27.

A New Chapter

Spencer’s excitement for this new venture was palpable in his Instagram post.

“Building this podcast has been incredibly fun and inspiring,” he wrote.

“Every recording session teaches me something new, and I’m proud of what we’ve created.”

He also teased a launch trailer, set to premiere ahead of the podcast’s debut.

For fans eager to join Spencer on this journey, UNTAPPED by High Performance promises to be a fresh, engaging, and deeply meaningful addition to the podcasting world.
