According to ZAOperaNews, Broos takes home R750 000 a month!

This amounts to three-quarters of a million rand and he is worth every cent. Since taking charge of the national team, the 69-year-old has been a revelation for South African football.

He had a strong start to his Bafana coaching record. Broos secured a famous 1-0 victory over Ghana to kick-start three successive victories for Bafana Bafana in their 2022 Soccer World Cup qualifiers.

These included back-to-back victories over Ethiopia to follow-up from his sides win over the Black Stars.

More importantly, he has led SA to within touching distance of the next stage of World Cup qualifiers.

Unfortunately, it all went downhill for him since then. He succumbed to a heartbreaking and unjust 1-0 loss against Ghana, ending SA’s World Cup dream and it has only got worse since then.

Broos had a nightmare in France, drawing 0-0 with Guinea before being annihialated 5-0 by the French in Lille.

This has resulted in fans losing patience with Broos and rumours of a potential replacement.
