SEC approves MoU between Sharjah Education Council and Syria’s ECDC

Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired Tuesday’s SEC weekly meeting at the Ruler’s Office.

The meeting was held in the presence of H.

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

The SEC also discussed a number of Sharjah Health Authority’s proposals aimed at developing the health services.

The attendees also reviewed the report of the “Madad” Centres of the Sharjah Education Council.

During its meeting, the SEC discussed a number of topics on its agenda, and took the appropriate decisions regarding them, in line with the Emirate’s vision to ensure the development of the government work, ensuring to provide the best infrastructure in various fields.

The Council discussed a number of Sharjah Health Authority’s proposals aimed at developing the health services, providing the best facilities and examinations for all beneficiaries, in order to enhance the level and quality of health care in all cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The Council reviewed the report of the “Madad” Centres of the Sharjah Education Council, aiming to provide the educational care to raise the level of academic achievement of the targeted students, in accordance with the studied plans and treatment programs that are developed in cooperation and coordination with strategic partners.

The centers aim to raise the achievement level of low-achieving students, providing educational, psychological and social care to the target groups, with strengthening the community partnership between community institutions to improve the educational performance.

The report included the numbers of affiliates according to the target groups, along with the statistics and data on educational outputs and activities for the previous years.

The Council also Council approved the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to be concluded between the Sharjah Education Council and the Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC) in Syria, which comes to coordinate efforts towards providing best practices in the field of early childhood care, education and rehabilitation, through the exchange of experiences and the support of common understanding frameworks, in the mechanisms of the comprehensive educational process of the two parties.
