Scouting Tournament Kicks Off In Ogun State

As part of effort to discover more Football talent in the nooks and crannies of Ogun state, football stakeholders have put together a scouting tournament in the Ogun East senatorial district.

Four teams from each local government in the Yewa/Awori axis have started locking horns in a knockout and final format.

Winners will proceed to the second stage of the tournament and organizers have confirmed that the modalities will be revealed subsequently.

Five venues will be put into use in the Idiroko Zone, Joga Zone, Imeko zone, Ado Odo and Ilaro Zone.

In the first set of games, Dandy FC of Aiyetoro defeated Oja Odan FC 2-0, Agroterta Sport Academy defeated Ajibawo FC 2-0.

The two winners will lock horns at 3pm today.
