Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Jordan discuss bilateral cooperation

RABAT, 5th March, 2022 – Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC), met Faisal Al-Fayez, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Jordan, on the sidelines of the ongoing 11th Congress of the Association of Senates, Shoora and Equivalent Councils in Africa and Arab World in Rabat, Morocco.

The two speakers discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation reviewed a number of issues of common interest.

Ghobash valued Jordan’s supportive stances towards the UAE and what Jordan has provided to the UAE throughout its history in the educational, health and military fields, stressing that this assistance is always appreciated.

Al Fayez affirmed that Jordan’s leadership, government and people stand with the UAE confronting any attempts to tamper with its security and stability, indicating that the UAE and the Arab Gulf
states in general constitute the strategic depth of Jordan and vice versa as well. Therefore, he stressed, Jordan is keen to support the UAE in all its positions.
