Saqr Ghobash meets President of Algeria’s PNA

CAIRO, 19th February 2022 Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), met on the sidelines of the 32nd meeting of the Arab Parliamentary Union (APU), currently underway in Cairo, with Ibrahim Boughali,, President of Algerian People’s National Assembly (PNA), and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed bilateral ties and means to coordinate stances on issues of mutual interest.

Ghobash praised the close fraternal relations between the UAE and Algeria and emphasised the importance of further strengthening parliamentary cooperation and coordination in various arenas.

Boughali lauded the special relations between the two brotherly countries and underlined the UAE’s wise vision for fostering Arab solidarity.

He extended an invitation to the FNC Speaker to visit Algeria.

Ghobash welcomed the invitation and invited Boughali to visit the UAE.
