Russia logs 5,034 new COVID-19 cases, 102 deaths

Russia has recorded 5,034 new COVID-19 cases and 102 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the Russian health authorities.

A statement carried by Interfax news agency said that, with the new cases and fatalities, Russia’s caseload now stands at 18,288,740, with the death tally rising to 378,270.

Meanwhile, the country added 6,288 new recoveries, taking the total to 17,683,089.
