According to a BBC News report, King Charles III is selling 14 of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s racehorses.

According to Sky News, the horses are being auctioned as part of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale, which is the largest sale of its kind in the world. The Queen’s horses are among 1,500 horses for sale this week, according to the journal.

According to Jimmy George, a spokeswoman for Tattersalls, this does not indicate that the royal family’s relationship to horseracing has ended, as the Queen routinely sold horses before her death.

“There’s nothing extraordinary about it. Annually, they would sell horses “According to BBC News and Sky News, George said.

“The Queen had her own brood mares, which she would breed and sell. You cannot keep everyone “he said.

“Each year, owners sell their stake. His Majesty is simply acting as a monarch should “he added.

As previously revealed by Insider, the Queen possessed more than one hundred horses at the time of her passing. On September 8, the Queen passed away at her Balmoral Castle estate at the age of 96.

She began riding horses at age three and received her first horse, a Shetland pony named Peggy, at age four, according to Metro.

According to statistics conducted by OLBG, a sports betting community, the Queen had entered 3,441 horseraces since 1988. According to the data, she has won 566 races in the United Kingdom and received around £8.7 million ($9.8 million) in prize money since 1988.

When approached by Insider, Buckingham Palace refused to comment. Tattersalls did not react promptly to an inquiry from Insider.
