While screenings will continue through December 13, fourteen awards will be handed out at the closing ceremony, including Best Feature Film and Best Director.

The festival’s aim is to celebrate regional talent while fostering connections with filmmakers from around the world.

A Platform for Regional Cinema

Founded by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture and supported by the Red Sea Film Foundation, the festival plays a key role in promoting local filmmakers.

It aligns with the country’s Vision 2030 objectives, which focus on diversifying the economy, strengthening cultural infrastructure, and nurturing creative talent across the Kingdom.

International Stars Make Their Mark

Opening night drew a glittering international crowd, including Adrien Brody, Sir Michael Caine, Vin Diesel, and Ana de Armas.

Veteran actor Giancarlo Esposito praised the festival’s unifying power, saying, “This celebration at the Red Sea Film Festival is really about celebrating film.”
