The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) ladies are known for living their finest, most lavish lives. They are enjoying the easy life, from their high-end events to their excursions. Jojo Robinson claimed that it is her husband’s money that made her rich because she married a wealthy man.
“What boosted you into becoming financially stable because you were in such a rough patch before?” asked one of her followers in a since-expired Instagram Story, as per Zalebs.
“My husband’s money. Lucky me, married rich,” she responded.
So, who is her husband? Jojo is married to South African kickboxing champion Calven Robinson. Calven was seen in a few episodes of the current season of RHOD and the ladies gushed over how cute and loving they are together.
Jojo opened up about her traumatic past with her ex-husband in an episode of RHOD. She revealed that she almost took her own life over it.
“He would never take me out. We would never go anywhere. One day he phoned me, and he was like he is going to take me out tonight for dinner. I was so excited, and I got home and spent two hours getting ready because it was our first time going out,” she said to Nonku Williams.
When her husband (at the time) did get home, he arrived with his friends. He then told her they were never going to go out. So, he asked to get dressed up to just to make her look “stupid.”
Jojo also detailed her near-death experience when she took an overdose and instead of rushing her to the hospital, her ex-husband kicked her and dragged her. He eventually called his sister and she rushed Jojo to the hospital and that is why she is alive today.
