Rapper NBA Youngboy’s home raided by SWAT team, three arrested and guns seized

A SWAT squad invaded NBA Youngboy’s Texas home, resulting in the arrest of the rapper’s friends and the seizure of many guns. The home that was searched belongs to NBA, whose actual name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden. According to a Harris County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, the SWAT officers had a warrant to search the residence where the music artist’s mother presently resides.

Neither Gaulden nor his mother were arrested however. Police say the three men are associates of the rapper. It is currently unknown if his mother was home when the raid took place. The firearms which were seized by the SWAT team included AR-15s, pistols and long guns. The men were arrested on multiple charges from aggravated robbery to aggravated assault.

The spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, Thomas Gillian, told TMZ that the arrests were related to the November shooting of a 20-year-old man. The man, who was shot several times in the head and body, reportedly survived and is now out of hospital, said cops. In October, the rapper was released on bond from federal prison after police found a gun in the back of a car he was driving. NBA was released on $1.5 million bail after serving seven months and was sentenced to pre-trial house arrest in Utah, where his location was monitored.
