According to Allnigeriasoccer.com, Glasgow Rangers are willing to sell midfield maestro Joe Aribo for a reduced cost during the summer transfer window.
The Nigerian international, whose contract with the Light Blues expires on July 1, 2022, has made it clear that he is not interested in extending his time at Ibrox Stadium.
Rangers value Aribo at €10 million (N5.6 billion in Nigerian currency), but may consider proposals as low as €5 million (N2.8 billion) in the summer.
Because the Super Eagles star’s contract expires at the end of next season, the Scottish Premiership champions have reduced his asking price ahead of the summer transfer window.
Five Premier League clubs namely Crystal Palace, Watford, Brentford, Southampton and Aston Villa are plotting a summer move for the versatile left-footed central midfielder.
Since landing at Rangers from Charlton Athletic in 2019, Aribo has made 127 all-competition appearances, scoring 23 goals.
On the international stage, the 25-year-old impressed for the Super Eagles despite their early elimination from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
