Raila Odinga, the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday to discuss the need to boost Kenya-India relations.
Odinga, who is in India on a private visit, recalled his decades-long friendship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Prime Minister Modi expressed his delight at finally meeting Mr Odinga after over three years. He recalled his numerous encounters with Mr Odinga in both India and Kenya since 2008, including the latter’s support for the dynamic Gujarat summits in 2009 and 2012,” according to a release from Delhi.
Prime Minister Modi also conveyed his best wishes to Mr Odinga for his good health and future endeavors.
