Racist tirade targets Hispanic man as he cleans fish in Tampa

A seemingly routine day for Andres Torres took a distressing turn when a white woman launched a racist tirade against him in Tampa.

Torres was cleaning fish when the woman, appearing intoxicated, approached him and began hurling offensive comments.

The confrontation, recorded by Torres and later shared on YouTube, shows the woman directing venomous remarks at him.

She said, “I’d rather see a black man than a f***ing Mexican… you’re a disgusting [sic] to society.”

Despite the verbal abuse, Torres remained calm and firmly told the woman to walk away.

A Calm Response Garners Support

Torres’ composed reaction struck a chord with viewers.

His video, posted on December 4, has since garnered over a million views and thousands of supportive comments.

Many praised his dignity in the face of blatant racism.

One commenter wrote, “As a black man, I salute you, sir, for staying calm.”

Racism in the Spotlight

This incident follows another viral video from earlier this month involving a white woman, dubbed “Christmas Karen,” in Atlanta.

She attempted to block Isaac Hayes III, son of the late soul singer Isaac Hayes, from entering his gated community.

The woman reportedly told him, “Why don’t you be white?”

Hayes shared the unsettling encounter on Instagram, writing, “White supremacy is crashin’ out all 2025. Be safe.”
