While most of her followers were busy congratulating her or admiring the sweet snapshots, Joel zeroed in on one unexpected detail—her pinky toe.

Rachel Kolisi’s First Birthday Without Siya
The post and playful banter came shortly after Rachel marked her 35th birthday—her first since her split from Springboks captain Siya Kolisi.
The couple, who share two children, Nicholas (10) and Keziah (7), announced their separation in October 2021.
They had also adopted Siya’s younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, making them a family of six.
Despite the big life changes, Rachel expressed gratitude for the love she received on her special day.
She shared on Instagram how much support and kindness surrounded her, even though she initially wanted to “sneak through” her birthday this year.
“This is 35!!! I was surrounded by LOVE and JOY yesterday, and I’m so grateful! Thank you for every message, call, and random hugs in the street,” she wrote.
