Rabdan Academy organises special course for People of Determination

ABU DHABI, 18th October, 2021 – Rabdan Academy, in cooperation with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination and Abu Dhabi Police, has announced a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by organising a training course for People of Determination (visually impaired), in conjunction with the “White Cane Safety Day”.

The move highlights that People of Determination are an essential part of the UAE society, and they can contribute to making the society safer and more stable.

The Academy provided a specialised trainer in this field, who presented the one day course in Braille.

Brigadier Abdulla Mohamed Al Zaabi, Director of the Police and Security Institutes Department at Saif Bin Zayed Academy, said, “We value this cooperation between Rabdan Academy, Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination and Abu Dhabi Police to support the ‘We are All Police’ initiative with renewed and diversified contributions that enrich the security and societal benefits of this project.

James Morse, President of Rabdan Academy, stated that the initiative is part of Rabdan Academy’s efforts to support the comprehensive strategy for People of Determination (2020-2024) with the aim of making the Emirate of Abu Dhabi capable of integrating and empowering them in various fields, especially the police system.
