Public Complaint Commission seeks collaboration with Borno State Government

The Commissioner, Borno State Chapter of the Public Complaint Commission visited Governor Zulum at the Government house in Maiduguri.

The Commissioner who led the Federal delegation on a courtesy visit said, ” I took over the state affairs some few months back, and when I came in we had about 5300 petitions but because of the mutual understanding and working synergy between the commission and the ministry of justice under your leadership we are left with 320 pending cases, this wouldn’t have been achieved without good leadership we will be ever ready and looking forward to more co-operation with Borno State government”.

“The only tough case we had was that of flour-mills and after series of investigation and intervention we ensure good understanding between the management and the union”.

The Commissioner further invited the governor for a formal commissioning of the commission’s branch office soon to be completed in Maiduguri the Borno state capital.

Responding to the remarks made by the commissioner, Governor Zulum welcomed the entourage and congratulate the new commissioner saying, ” your honesty and integrity is not questionable and I’m happy to note the good interface between your commission and the state Ministry of Justice, we will surely co-operate with you at any level to ensure we give the best representation to the people of Borno.
