Fans of SABC1’s educational soapie – Skeem Saam have lost respect for John Maputla for cheating on Meikie with Melita.

They are also furious with him for not wanting his wife – Meikie (Harriet Manamela) to be released from prison.

JOHN MAPUTLA IS NOT AN HONOURABLE MAN

Skeem Saam’s non-favourite character – John Maputla has topped Twitter trend lists this month for cheating on his wife – Meikie with Melita.

  • Professor John Maputla (Africa Tsoai) is a serial cheater who is still respected amongst his peers and the Turfloop community.
  • He’s currently on his fourth affair after cheating on his wife with her best friend – Mantuli and her neighbours Melita and Charity Ramabu.
  • Meikie found out that from Mantuli that her husband is having an affair with her employee – Melita while she’s behind bars
  • The Seakamelas have also lost respect for John since they found out about his affair.
  • His daughter-in-law Mapitsi Maputla (Mogau Mothlatswi) also confronted him about the affair, which he denied.
  • Viewers are now curious to see what will transpire between John and his wife Meikie when she gets released from prison in April.
  • The love that the pair once shared seems to have gone out the window judging from John’s resistance for Meikie to be released from prison.
