Pro-trans athlete activist causes uproar at California school board meeting by shouting ‘Hail Satan!’ during heated debate over trans athletes in girls’ sports

A recent California school board meeting turned into chaos when a pro-trans athlete activist stormed out and yelled “Hail Satan!”—and the viral video of the incident has taken the internet by storm.

The protester’s outburst came after a heated exchange between conservative and liberal attendees over the inclusion of trans athletes in girls’ sports.

As the activist walked out, they shouted, “Y’all are a bunch of transphobic pieces of s***, and I hope you burn in hell,” before adding the controversial phrase, “Hail Satan!”

The Aftermath of the Meeting

The Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) confirmed the incident in a statement, acknowledging that public comments at the meeting did indeed include the “Hail Satan!” remark.

This, however, wasn’t the only disruption that night.

One attendee described the atmosphere as “deeply unsettling.” Christina Salazar, whose daughter Isabel spoke at the meeting, explained to Fox News that her daughter’s speech was interrupted by chants and disruption.

“There was even a teacher from my daughter’s school who was yelling ‘Hail Satan’ as he walked out and flipped everyone off.”

Divisive Protests and Aggressive Language

Nichole Vicario, a San Bernardino County mother, also shared her experience of the chaotic scene.

She said some pro-trans protestors identified themselves as Satanists and used vulgar language during the meeting, even with children present.

Despite this, Vicario praised the school board for maintaining order during the uproar.

“There were people shouting ‘Hail Satan,’ identifying as Satanists, and using offensive language,” Vicario said.

“Despite the chaos, the board remained composed and committed to protecting girls’ sports.”

Opposition Escalates as Police Escort Woman Out

The meeting reached a breaking point when a woman opposing trans athletes in girls’ sports on biblical grounds was escorted out by the police.

The scene highlighted the extreme levels of tension surrounding the topic.

Sonja Shaw, President of the CVUSD school board, condemned the protests and pointed out the death threats she and other board members have received from pro-trans activists.

Shaw, who is outspokenly Christian and a strong advocate for parental rights, said the meeting had been hijacked by a “small but loud” group of outside agitators.

School Board President Responds to Chaos

Shaw didn’t hold back when speaking to Fox News Digital.

She expressed her frustration with the behavior of the protestors, calling it “an embarrassment.”

She also mentioned how the protestors tried to rally outside groups to overwhelm the district, but said they were only able to cause disruption, not productive dialogue.

“That’s all they got?” Shaw asked, referring to the angry group trying to bully the community into submission.

“A handful of disruptive individuals trying to attack a community that’s working to protect kids.”

Shaw was elected to the Chino school board in 2022 and has since gained attention for her stance on several conservative causes, including requiring schools to notify parents if their child wishes to change their name, pronouns, or use a different bathroom.

A Final Verbal Clash

The meeting ended with more verbal clashes as one protester, being escorted away by police, yelled out, “You’re all just here to kiss Sonja’s fing a.”

This final remark added to the growing tensions and left many questioning the direction of the debate.
