Call for Probe into Air Crash by Retired Major General:

In a separate development, retired Major General Danjuma Ali-Keffi, the former General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division of the Nigerian Army, urged President Bola Tinubu to investigate the air crash that claimed the life of former Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru.

Ali-Keffi raised concerns about the suspicious circumstances surrounding the crash and called for a thorough inquiry into the matter.

Allegations of Terror Sponsorship:

Ali-Keffi alleged a connection between the crash and terror sponsors, pointing out that Attahiru had devised strategies to combat terrorism in the North.

These strategies included infiltrating terror groups, instigating crises among terror leaders, and eliminating Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau through collaboration with a rival group, Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP).

Details of Suspicious Circumstances:

The retired Major General highlighted various factors contributing to his suspicions, such as the sudden changes in Attahiru’s travel plans, alterations in aircraft and landing locations, the decision to land during turbulent weather conditions, and the explosive sound preceding the crash.

The situation remains under investigation, with calls for transparency and a comprehensive examination of the events leading to the tragic plane crash in Kaduna.
