A fresh wave of controversy has erupted following the release of a massive collection of documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein, with one particular image drawing intense attention.
Buried among hundreds of thousands of files is a photograph that appears to show a controversial puppet linked to Prince Andrew sitting casually in the background of Epstein’s New York mansion.
The Puppet Caught in the Background
The image shows Ghislaine Maxwell posing inside Epstein’s Manhattan home, dressed in a flight suit, while a Spitting Image-style latex puppet resembling Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is visible propped up on a sofa behind her.
This puppet, already infamous, has been referenced in disturbing allegations tied to Epstein’s inner circle.
Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for her role in facilitating Epstein’s abuse of underage girls, appears relaxed in the photo, which is now part of the newly disclosed Epstein Files.
Inside the Epstein Files Release
The photograph is just one element of a vast release of around 300,000 documents made public on Friday.
The files include graphic descriptions, disturbing scenes from Epstein’s various properties, and numerous images involving young, often naked women.
Together, they offer a grim snapshot of the world Epstein created — and the powerful figures allegedly connected to it.
Claims Linked to Prince Andrew
According to allegations resurfacing in these documents, Prince Andrew — who has since been stripped of his royal titles — is accused of using the puppet during inappropriate encounters involving Virginia Giuffre and another woman, Johanna Sjoberg.
At the time, Giuffre was reportedly 17, while Sjoberg was 21.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place in the study of Epstein’s £60 million Manhattan townhouse.
Virginia Giuffre’s Account
Giuffre, who has long claimed she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew on three occasions, described the puppet incident in her book.
She wrote that when a doll made in Andrew’s likeness was used to cup her breast, she reacted by nervously giggling.
Her account has been widely cited in discussions surrounding the Epstein scandal and Andrew’s alleged involvement.
Johanna Sjoberg’s Deposition
Sjoberg also spoke about the incident during a 2016 legal deposition.
She recalled sitting on Prince Andrew’s lap while Giuffre sat nearby.
According to her testimony, the puppet’s hands were placed on Giuffre’s chest, after which Andrew allegedly placed his own hands on Sjoberg’s breast.
Her sworn statement added another layer to the already troubling claims.
Prince Andrew’s Firm Denial
Throughout the years, Prince Andrew has consistently and strongly denied all allegations.
He has repeatedly stated that he never had sexual contact with Virginia Giuffre and has rejected any suggestion of wrongdoing related to Epstein or his associates.
