The footage capturing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s arrival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Saudi-Africa Summit surfaced on Thursday.

The Nigerian leader was warmly welcomed by officials of the Saudi Arabian government at the King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh.

Other key members included the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Amb. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; and Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Mallam Jalal Arabi.

President Tinubu Launches Digital Registration Systems

Launch Event:

In a separate development, President Tinubu launched the Digital Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System (CRVS) and the National Geospatial Data Repository.

The launch event took place at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Abuja on Wednesday.

Importance of CRVS:

President Tinubu emphasized the significance of the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System, considering it as the fundamental building block of an identity ecosystem.

Committee Inauguration: As part of the initiative, President Tinubu inaugurated the National Coordination Committee for CRVS, underscoring the commitment to the effective implementation of these crucial systems.
