President Ramaphosa Remains Committed on Rebuilding and Recovery in South Africa

While there is a lot of public attention and worry regarding allegations filed in a criminal complaint against him, President Cyril Ramaphosa says he is focused on rebuilding the economy and the country.

The President reiterates that he was not involved in any criminal activity and reiterates his commitment to fully cooperate with any police investigation.

He admits that security surrounding his properties has increased since the incident in February 2020.

The Presidency will not be able to comment further on the details of the matters due to the possible inquiry, and recommends that due process be followed.

The President reiterates his commitment to combatting corruption and professionalizing law enforcement institutions in order to better serve and respond to the needs of the public.

He is looking forward to speaking at The Presidency Budget Vote, which will give him the opportunity to update the country on the important themes he highlighted in his State of the Nation Address.
