President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo, apprehended by Department of State Services (DSS)

President Bello Bodejo Nabbed by DSS:

In a significant development, the President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo, has been apprehended by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).

The arrest is linked to his alleged involvement in the establishment of an unauthorized vigilante group within Nasarawa State.

Dramatic Arrest at Miyetti Allah’s Head Office

The arrest unfolded at the Miyetti Allah’s Head Office, located at the Tundun Maliya Cattle Market along the Abuja-Keffi Expressway in Tundun-Wada, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

According to reports, DSS operatives, accompanied by soldiers from the Nigerian Army, carried out the operation at approximately 3:40 pm on Tuesday. Bodejo was taken into custody at the entrance gate of the facility.

Concerns Over Unregistered Vigilante Group

There is growing apprehension regarding the vigilante group associated with Bodejo, as it is reported to be operating without proper registration or recognition from any government security agency.

The group’s lack of affiliation with the DSS, the police, or any other recognized security institution raises concerns about the potential for violence across the country.

A reliable source revealed, “Our (DSS) operatives and soldiers of the Nigerian Army stormed the Miyetti Allah’s Head Office in Nasarawa this afternoon, and we’ve arrested their National President, Bello Bodejo, for creating a vigilante group that is not recognized by the government.”

National Security Implications

The creation of this nomadic vigilante group, not sanctioned by the Federal Government, has heightened worries about the potential security implications for the nation.

With the absence of official registration and endorsement, fears linger that the group’s activities could lead to unrest and pose a threat to public safety.
