At State House Nairobi on Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta met with a group of Jubilee party political heavyweights from Mandera and Isiolo.
During the President’s tenure, the leaders praised him for modernizing the county through different development projects.
They discussed a variety of topics that affect the county throughout the meeting.
Security, drought, and famine are among the issues that are currently afflicting the region, and they have asked the government to intervene to protect the county’s citizens.
The leaders also expressed their commitment to the President’s sustained support.
The region has been a strong supporter of the Jubilee administration.
Godana Doyo, the former governor of Isiolo, and Rehema Jaldesa, the Women’s Representative, were among the leaders who paid President Kenyatta a visit.
