According to Daniel Bwala, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign organization, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the President-elect of Nigeria, has reportedly begun distancing himself from politicians who received money before supporting him in the 2023 general elections.
Bwala claimed that Tinubu is also abandoning those who betrayed their parties to back his presidential ambition.
He stated that Tinubu follows the leadership model of Abraham Lincoln, which involves doing whatever is demanded during the campaign and then “dumping” those individuals after victory.
Bwala shared this observation on his Twitter account.
