Donald Trump, president-elect, has promised to provide clarity on the recent sightings of mysterious drones across New Jersey and other parts of the United States.
Speaking with reporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Thursday, he stated that he would reveal the truth about these unexplained aerial phenomena once he takes office.
Frustration Over Lack of Transparency
Trump shared his frustration with the lack of transparency regarding the drones.
He revealed that he planned to provide a full report on the matter soon after his inauguration, calling the government’s silence on the issue “ridiculous.”
He hinted that the drones could be part of a U.S. national defense operation, though he expressed hope that they were not the work of an adversary.
Governors Speak Out on Drone Incursions
Governors attending the meeting with Trump also voiced their concerns.
Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin shared that drones have been entering restricted airspace near Quantico, the largest Marine Corps base in the world.
“We still don’t know why this is happening, and it’s absolutely unacceptable,” Youngkin remarked.
Meanwhile, Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry pointed out that drones were flying over nuclear reactors in his state, and despite alerting the FAA, the situation remained unresolved.
Similarly, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon expressed frustration over drones flying over critical infrastructure, with no clear answers or solutions in sight.
Trump Pushes for Answers
Despite the growing concern, Trump remains determined to uncover the truth about the drones.
He speculated that the drones might be linked to U.S. defense activities but criticized the lack of communication from government officials.
He promised that once he was inaugurated, he would ensure the public received a full explanation.
“I hope it’s not an enemy, but we’ll find out,” Trump said, signaling that answers would be provided shortly after his swearing-in on January 20.
Speculation and Uncertainty Surround Drone Sightings
For weeks, speculation about the drones has been rampant, with theories ranging from a search for a missing nuclear weapon to an Iranian plot to instill fear in the U.S.
Trump, however, believes the government already knows the origin of the drones and has urged President Joe Biden to be more transparent about the situation.
“Our military knows, and our president knows,” Trump asserted, adding that withholding information only serves to create unnecessary suspense.
A Promise to Get to the Bottom of It
As Trump prepares for his presidential duties, he remains committed to addressing the drone issue.
He has made it clear that the American public deserves answers, and he plans to deliver on that promise as soon as possible.
