Police launch search for missing 15-year-old girl

After a teenage schoolgirl vanished, police launched a manhunt because they were “increasingly concerned” for her safety.

15-year-old Ellie was last seen on Saturday night at her home address in Sheffield’s Gleadless neighbourhood.

She is described as being white, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and having blonde hair with silver highlights.

What she may have been wearing when she vanished is unknown to police.

She is rumoured to frequently visit the city’s manor, Parsons Cross, and Gleadless neighbourhoods.

Ellie’s welfare is a growing concern for South Yorkshire Police, and

Officers want to speak with anyone who may have seen her and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
