Bumper new contract for Pitso at Al Ahly

Pitso Mosimane is reported to have received a contract offer around R2.5m-a-month to remain with the Egyptian giants Al Ahly.

Pitso has won back-to-back CAF Champions League titles however a third in a row will undoubtedly place his name in the African history books in gold.

Standing in his way this season however are a hot Mamelodi Sundowns side that have already won the first installment of their group stage clash, in Egypt!

Pitso Mosimane returns to South Africa this week to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the second installment and he’s tipped to have his new contract signed and sealed before he makes the long journey!

According to goalkeeping legend turned pundit Ahmed Shobeir, Al Ahly will extend head coach Mosimane’s contract before the trip to South Africa to face Sundowns in the second round of the CAF Champions League on 11 March.

“Al Ahly officials told Mosimane that they fully trust him and the new contract process should be over before South Africa Trip,” Shobeir said, as reported by King Fut.

“Pitso Mosimane was happy about it and the new contract will be signed soon.”
