Panic as suspicious men are spotted carrying out surveillance in popular Mombasa hotels and gathering places (PHOTOs & VIDEOs)

Saturday, 29 January 2022 – An alarm has been raised after some suspicious men were caught on CCTV carrying out surveillance at popular hotels in Mombasa.

They reportedly carried out surveillance at Pride Inn beach hotel, Flamingo beach and hotel, and Club Volume.

One of the men was communicating in the Somali language.

They were seen taking pictures and surveying the exit and entry points of the premises.

They are suspected to be terrorists.

A concerned Kenyan took to social media and warned Mombasa residents to be careful.

The alarming message reads: These two cars were loitering between pride In beach hotel, flamingo beach hotel and volume club with five very suspicious occupants at around 7.30am to 8.30am. 

“One of the suspects was communicating in somali language but he’s not somali. They were just seen taking pictures and surveying the exit and entry points of the premise. This is the detailed evidence from the cctv footage.

*Dear Colleagues, I have shared the motor vehicles registration numbers for possible arrest of the occupants. 

“They are highly suspected to be terror suspects mapping and carrying out surveillance for the terror attack in Mombasa county in hotels and other gathering places.*
