Officially out of the running to sign Iraqi defender are the Orlando Pirates

WHY THE ORLANDO PIRATES DIDN’T SIGN NADHIM

Several media outlets claimed that Nadhim was so eager to join the Pirates that he had already packed his bags for South Africa.

His desire to play football in the South African top division, however, was dashed due to issues with his visa.

At Pirates, Nadhim, 28, was viewed as the perfect center defender to team up with Olisa Ndah, Nkosinathi Sibisi, and Tapelo Xoki.

Prior to the start of the new season, Pirates have already lost three center backs in Happy Jele, Ntsikelelo Nyauza, and Thulani Hlatshwayo.
