According to authorities, the origins of the tragic incident can be traced back to a fight that initiated within a train car and subsequently spilled onto the platform.

Among the victims, a teenage girl tragically lost her life after sustaining a gunshot wound to the face. Despite being rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, her injuries proved fatal.
Another teenager suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Reports suggest that all victims, ranging between the ages of 12 and 17, were caught in the crossfire of this alarming event.
