Introduction: OIP’s Commitment to FOIA Training
The Office of Information Policy (OIP) is dedicated to promoting transparency and accountability through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
To fulfill this commitment, OIP regularly conducts training sessions for agency FOIA professionals and individuals with FOIA responsibilities.
In this article, we’ll provide details about the upcoming FOIA training opportunities for the first half of Fiscal Year 2024.

Registration Details
These training courses are open to all federal government employees. To register, please visit OIP’s Eventbrite page, where you can find detailed course descriptions.
Registration for each course will open one month prior to the training date. Remember to use your government email address when registering, and note that these sessions are exclusively for government personnel and contractors.
