Obiano Commiserates With Nteje Community Over Final Journey Of Monarch Igwe Odegbo

Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has commiserated with Nteje people over loss of their traditional Ruler, Igwe Roland Odegbo.
He paid a condolence visit to his Palace at Nteje
Government House Correspondent, Ejike Abana reports that  Governor Obiano, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano also condoled with the family, of the late traditional ruler.
They had on arrival performed the Traditional rite of consoling kindred members at the table and signing the condolence register.
According to the Governor, late Igwe Odegbo was very industrious and trustworthy.
Some Anambra Monarchs including the Traditional Ruler of Aguleri, Eze Michael Idigo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Dr. Uche Nworah, among others, were part of the condolence visit.
Before his demise, late Igwe  Odegbo born on March 27, 1957, chaired many Conflict Resolution Panels as well as Fact-Finding Committees, including the Ochanja Market Fire incident, among others.
Until he joined his ancestors on November 2, 2021, he was the Chairman, Anambra North Traditional Rulers’ Council; Chairman, Anambra State Community and Social Development Agency (ANCSDA), a World Bank-assisted Agency. He was member of board of many Ministries, Parastatals and Agencies, including the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS).
