Obaseki hails Omobude at 76

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated the General Overseer of the New Covenant Gospel Church and immediate past National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev. Dr. Felix I. Omobude on his 76th birthday.

In a statement, the governor said, “I heartily congratulate the General Overseer of New Covenant Gospel Church and immediate past National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev. Dr. Felix I. Omobude on his 76th birthday.

“Rev. Omobude has, over the years, remained steadfast in the Lord’s vineyard, providing leadership and guidance to grow the body of Christ.”

He continued: “His contributions to the advancement of the Christian community in Edo State have been tremendous, even as he continues to deliver the gospel in simple, understandable, refreshing and edifying style.

“Aside his work in the Lord’s vineyard, Rev. Omobude is contributing significantly to capacity development with the Lighthouse Polytechnic, an institution that was set up to bridge the skill gap among the youth population.

“At 76, Rev. Omobude symbolizes simplicity, diligence and fortitude. He exudes a rare devotion to Christ, the community and in advancing societal development. We pray that God grants him many more years to lead an impactful life.”
