The Nasarawa State NYSC Batch C Stream I will be held in 2021. This week’s three-week orientation session is set to begin on Wednesday.
The exercise, which would be held at the Magaji Dan Yamusa NYSC Keffi Permanent Orientation Camp, will also allow aspiring members of the Corps to register from the start date till Sunday, October 24, 2021 at midnight.
The official swearing-in of Lucie-Ann and the induction of body members will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, according to a statement released by the NYSC Deputy Director of Public Relations in Lafia. The Chief Justice of the State of Nasarawa will administer the oath of service to the members of the body.
The statement added that, in accordance with the protocols on the COVID-19 coronavirus which are still in force in Nigeria, large gatherings would not be organized because the ceremony will be low-key.
NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator Abdullahi Ahmad Jikamshi will preside over the ceremony and address the corps members on behalf of State Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Safety agencies, members of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), commercial motorcyclists and the good people of Nasarawa State have been urged to offer any help possible to future corps members as they attempt to navigate their way to camp.
The statement urged potential employers of the body to forward their requests to the NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator no later than Tuesday, November 2, 2021, to allow for review and publication accordingly.
