North Seattle homicide investigation

Police were summoned around 12:15 in the morning to the 14300 block of Aurora Avenue North due to allegations of a shooting.

When police arrived, they discovered a 44-year-old male who had been fatally shot.

At the scene, the individual was pronounced dead by Seattle Fire Department medics.

A second male victim, 46 years old, was taken by private ambulance to Harborview Medical Center with what seemed to be a minor grazing wound.

Responding to the site, members of the SPD’s Crime Scene Investigation Unit processed it for evidence.

Homicide detectives attended as well and will oversee the continuing inquiry.
