There are also chances of morning thunderstorms over parts of Cross River and Akwa Ibom.

Later in the day, thunderstorms are envisaged over various southern states.

On Saturday, the northern states should experience a sunny and hazy atmosphere, with the possibility of thunderstorms over parts of Taraba in the afternoon and evening.

In the North Central, the morning will likely bring sunny skies with a few cloud patches, while localized thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon.

Sunday’s forecast includes a sunny and hazy atmosphere in the northern region, with isolated thunderstorms expected in parts of Adamawa and Taraba during the afternoon and evening.

In the North Central, a sunny atmosphere with a few cloud patches is expected during the morning.

NiMet has also provided guidance for the public, advising people with asthma and other respiratory issues to be cautious of the current weather conditions, especially in areas with dust particles in suspension.
