NICO Holds Two-Day Fiesta In Lagos And Abuja

Organisers of NICO have announced that the 2-day fiesta will examine the roles of the Nigerian Youth in the promotion of National Diversity and Cohesion.

The Lagos version of the programme scheduled to hold at the Media Centre of the News Agency of Nigeria National Theatre Complex between Thursday and Friday, will see students from selected schools contesting in various competitions that highlight the theme.

The event hosted in partnership with Voice of Nigeria and an international NGO – Ashoka Innovators for the Public, is expected to share perspectives on the topic “EVERYONE A CHANGEMAKER,” focusing on youths’ engagement in leadership.

According to Lagos Zonal Director of NICO, Ohi Ojo, the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of the National Troupe, Prof. Sunday Enessi Ododo, will grace the occasion as the special guest of honour. At the same time, the former Executive Secretary of NICO, Victoria Agodo, will headline the event as the Mother of the Day.
