Weeks after sharing heartbreaking news, Tineke “Tini” Younger is gently letting her audience know how she’s doing—and how her family is moving forward.
The 24-year-old Next Level Chef alum, who married Antoine Wright Jr. in November 2024, has been navigating life after losing one of her newborn twin daughters shortly after birth.
Last month, Tini revealed that baby Arya passed away following a placental abruption.
Now, she’s offering a soft, emotional check-in focused on love, healing, and her surviving daughter.
How Baby L Is Doing
In a brief Instagram update shared Friday, Tini posted photos of her newborn and reassured followers that baby L—her second twin—is doing well.
“Just wanted to hop on socials real quick,” she wrote, adding that L is healthy and deeply loved.
Tini shared a tender detail many parents recognize: L smiles in her sleep.
She also spoke about keeping Arya’s memory close.
According to Tini, Arya is talked about every day, and she believes her daughters remain connected in their own way.
Stepping Back to Heal
Along with the update came honesty about why Tini has been quiet online.
She explained that she’s still recovering, both emotionally and physically, and dealing with postpartum complications.
She didn’t put a timeline on her return, only saying she’s focused on healing right now.
Tini ended the message with gratitude for the outpouring of love and support she’s received.
Honoring Arya, Always
Despite everything, Tini made one thing clear: Arya will always be celebrated.
She’s promised that L will grow up knowing she’s a twin and that she has a beautiful sister who is part of her story.
In earlier posts, Tini had shared that L was breathing on her own and doing well—a small but powerful reassurance for worried fans.
The Original Announcement That Shook Her Community
On November 26, Tini shared the devastating news on Instagram and Facebook, telling followers that Arya had passed away just shy of 36 weeks into the pregnancy.
She explained that a placental abruption caused the loss.
Medical experts describe placental abruption as a serious condition where the placenta separates from the uterus before delivery, which can interrupt oxygen and nutrient supply to the baby and cause complications for the mother.
Alongside her words, Tini shared black-and-white photos, including one showing her and Antoine holding and looking down at their late daughter.
From Joyful News to Sudden Heartbreak
Earlier in 2025, Tini had announced her pregnancy in a lighthearted video captioned, “Putting a bun(s) in the oven.”
The clip showed her baking from scratch with Antoine by her side, joking that it was a two-person job.
Soon after, the couple confirmed the news with a photo featuring tiny sweatshirts labeled “Sous Chef” and a sign reading, “2 sous chefs on the way 2025.”
A month later, they revealed they were expecting twin girls.
Life, Content, and Cooking Through Pregnancy
As recently as October, Tini told People that her twins were “perfect” and chatted about her plans for Thanksgiving.
Known for making the holidays a big part of her content, she joked about bringing a chair into the kitchen so she could keep cooking.
Creating recipes—especially during the holidays—has long been her thing, and she was determined to keep showing up, even if it meant sitting down more often.
The Creator Fans Know and Love
Tini built her massive following through approachable, comforting cooking videos.
Her macaroni and cheese recipe alone helped launch her into viral fame.
Today, she has around 12 million followers on TikTok and more than 2 million on Instagram.
That audience has stood by her through both joyful milestones and unimaginable loss.
What’s Next?
For now, Tini is taking things one day at a time.
She’s focusing on healing, caring for baby L, and honoring Arya’s memory.
While she’s unsure when she’ll return to regular posting, one thing is clear: when she does, she’ll be met with the same community that has been sending love every step of the way.
