In a candid interview with Tucker Carlson, New York City Mayor Eric Adams shared his frustration with the Biden administration’s response to the ongoing migrant crisis affecting his city.

“Those who are here committing crimes – robberies, shooting at police officers, raping innocent people – have been a harm to our country,” Adams stated.

He made it clear that he would like to work with Tom Homan, the incoming Border Czar, to find ways to address the issue, notably by focusing on criminal migrants.

Adams also referenced past Democratic leaders, such as Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, who also spoke out against criminal migrants and advocated for their removal.

Bickering with Biden, but Open to Cooperation with Trump

While Adams expressed his discontent with President Biden, he also shared his willingness to work with former President Donald Trump.

Adams discussed the possibility of bipartisan efforts to improve the city, noting that his conversations with Trump focused on cooperation and mutual goals.

“I’m not here to be at war with the president.

I’m here to work with the president,” Adams stated, signaling his openness to collaboration despite their political differences.

This stance has led many to speculate whether Adams’ relationship with Trump could offer him an unexpected advantage in his legal troubles, particularly as Trump has already expressed support for Adams, suggesting he might consider a pardon for the mayor if needed.

Adams’ legal issues stem from accusations of bribery and illegal campaign contributions during his time as Brooklyn Borough President.

Although Adams faces up to 30 years in prison, Trump has suggested that he might grant a pardon if the charges are politically motivated, claiming that Adams was treated unfairly.
