Bethesda announced a new version of Skyrim at QuakeCon 2021, in celebration of the game’s 10th anniversary. The new version, called Skyrim Anniversary Edition , arrives on November 11 to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S, with free updates on new consoles.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition is the “most definitive version” of the game . Includes the base game and all three expansions. But the big news this time around is the inclusion of 500 pieces of Creation Club content (mods). This content brings a lot to the game, from simple things like weapons and spells, to more meaningful additions like missions and bosses. Among them are also fishing, survival mode and new missions of Saints and Seducers.

In addition to the Anniversary Edition news, Bethesda also announced that Skyrim Special Edition owners on all platforms , including Xbox Game Pass, will get three Creation Club content: Fishing, Survival Mode, and new missions from Saints and Seducers.

The Special Edition will receive a free update on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, including Game Pass, on November 11.

Bethesda will also offer a paid upgrade path from the Special Edition to the Anniversary Edition, which unlocks all of the aforementioned Creation Club content.
