The NSTC will double down its efforts to create a UK science and technology system that will be a sustained engine for future economic growth, prosperity and securityThe NSTC will be chaired by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, with the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster as deputy chair. It will deliver a plan to harness science and technology to support economic growth and the UK’s position on the geopolitical stage, sending a clear signal to the sector about the government’s priorities in this area.
