It’s that time of year again when Netflix decides to shake things up, and this October, they’re making some major cuts.
A whole bunch of beloved shows and award-winning films are set to leave the platform, so it might be time to binge-watch your favorites before they’re gone.
What’s Leaving in October

Starting October 1, 2024, Netflix will bid farewell to a range of titles.
Some of the notable removals include:
- “Before I Go to Sleep” (2014)

As we move deeper into October, more titles will make their exit.
On October 4, the iconic “Beverly Hills Cop” trilogy, including the original and its sequels, will no longer be available.
A few days later, on October 7, horror fans will need to find new options as “Insidious” (2010) and “Safe” (2012) leave the platform.
Later in October
By October 10, expect to see:
- “The Catch” (2013)
- “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” (2022)
And don’t forget, on October 12, Netflix will remove:

End of the Month Farewell
Wrapping up the month on October 17, the fun animated series “DC Super Hero Girls” will disappear from Netflix.
And if you’re a fan of the drama series “Wanted” or looking to catch up on “Our Kind of a Traitor” before they leave on October 15 and October 12, respectively, now’s the time to act.
Make the Most of It
If any of these titles are on your watchlist, now’s the time to catch them before they disappear.
Netflix’s ever-changing lineup means there’s always something new around the corner, but it’s worth savoring these favorites while you can.
