NDLEA arrests Pastor Anietie Okon Effiong with 3 drums of crystal methamphetamine from India

NDLEA agents detained Pastor Anietie Okon Effiong, a transnational drug dealer, along with three drums of crystal methamphetamine, locally known as Mkpuru Mmiri and said to have been smuggled from India.

Femi Babafemi, the agency’s spokesman, said that the shipment, which weighed 90 kilos and was put into a commercial bus with the registration number RSH 691XC at Ojuelegba in Lagos, was stopped during a stop and search operation on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Pastor Anietie Okon Effiong was intended to receive the lethal substance, which was packaged 30kg per drum, but he was captured during a follow-up operation at Oron Beach in Oron. The Republic of Cameroon was supposed to get the recovered Meth drums.
