As a child, South African international rapper Nasty C was a great Orlando Pirates supporter, but this changed when his father left him behind after acquiring three tickets to a live game.

Over a decade later, the award-winning rapper Domani Harris invited the “Stalling” hitmaker to watch an international soccer match in California. The “Stalling” hitmaker recently shared this moment on Instagram.

Nasty C described in a lengthy blog post how he and his father connected over soccer as the only members of the family to support the Orlando Pirates. However, everything changed when his father “snubbed” him and took his brothers to a live soccer game instead.

“…then one day when I was around 13 years old, my father had three tickets to see the Orlando Pirates play, and I knew I was about to have the best time of my life with my older brother and my father.” but instead they chose my other brother @siyabonga4117, who was a @kcfcofficial supporter and DID NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT SOCCER!!

“KAIZER WASNT EVEN PLAYING THAT DAY!!!! Lmao, I had a knot in my throat the entire day, and ever since then, I don’t give a F**K about soccer. AT ALL.”

The “Phases” hitmaker went on to explain that he skipped all of his practice sessions and kept to the one thing they did not appreciate or approve of: music.

“Yes, ni**a, I was bitter and wounded!” Over a decade later, on the opposite side of the planet, I am invited to see a live game for the VERY FIRST TIME! By @domani, who is the son of the individual WHO MADE ME WANT TO RAP. “How fucked up is that?” he wrote.

He wrote the post to embarrass his father.

“I didn’t intend to get that profound; it’s just that the child in me wants to hold this L up to @tevywevy33 and pops’ faces. Lmao with love, though.”

In addition to thanking Harris for the invitation, the rapper boasted that Canadian record producer Murda Beatz and “Boo’d Up” singer Ella Mai were in attendance.

“Thanks bro @domani that sh*t was special to me dawg. AND @murdabeatz & @ellamai were right there with us!!!???? Lmaaaaoooo! L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L L
