Having secured the top two spots on the competition’s league phase log, the Valke and SWD Eagles will enjoy home advantage in the playoffs.

The Barnard Stadium in Kempton Park will host the clash between the Valke and the Leopards, while SWD will face the Boland Cavaliers at Outeniqua Park in George.

Live Streaming and Upcoming Matches

Both semi-final matches are set to kick off at 15h00 on Saturday, 10 June, and will be streamed live on the SuperSport Schools app.

The Mzansi Challenge final is scheduled for Saturday, 17 June, while the Currie Cup First Division final, featuring the Boland Cavaliers and Valke, will be held on Friday, 23 June in Wellington.

Controversy Surrounding the Competition

Despite being embroiled in controversy, the much-maligned Mzansi Challenge has been given the green light to proceed as planned.

Originally, the tournament was intended to include six Currie Cup First Division teams and five international sides, such as the Tel Aviv Heat from Israel and the Diables from Spain.

Despite the setbacks and uncertainty, the Mzansi Challenge is set to continue with its semi-final stage, as the Valke and SWD Eagles prepare to host their respective matches.
