Muaythai Night to begin tomorrow at Expo 2020 Dubai
The tournament will take place under the oversight of the World Muaythai Council and international and Emirati Muaythai federations, with the wide participation of international champions.
Abdullah Al Neyadi, Chairman of the UAE and Arab Muaythai and Kickboxing Federations and Vice President of the Asian Federation, said the UAE is pleased to organise the current edition of the event, in light of the support of the country’s leadership and its keenness to promote sports and youth sectors.
Tariq Al Muhairi, Member of the Executive Office of the International Muaythai Federation and Director of the Tournament, said the tournament will begin with the arrival of the participants on 23rd February, followed by their medical examinations and their accommodation in hotels.
The technical committee will meet with the competitors to discuss the final arrangements for the launch of the event, he added.
The tournament’s committees have concluded their technical, administrative and organisational arrangements, and lauded the support of the National Olympic Committee, the General Authority of Sports (GAS) and the Dubai Sports Council.
